Getting pre-approved

Even if you’re not 100% sure on the timing for your search, it’s still a good idea to connect with the bank and make a plan so you can hit the ground running when the right house comes on the market. No one wants to be chasing down the bank two hours before the offer deadline! Here is a list of preferred lenders who share our service-minded approach.

To become pre-approved, you’ll be asked to fill out a mortgage application, submit documents and authorize a credit score review.

Interviewing Your Lender

  • range of mortgage programs

  • lender is accessible outside “banker’s hours”

  • industry reputation

  • down payment assistance options

  • proactive and effective communication
